Petralex Hearing Aid App

Petralex Hearing Aid App turns your Android phone into a practical hearing amplifier for everyday listening. It is designed as a sound amplifier app for people with mild to moderate hearing loss who want more clarity without relying on a traditional medical device. The hearing aid app begins with a built-in hearing test, then creates personalized sound settings that match your ears and the environment around you.

How Petralex Works

After taking the hearing test, Petralex Hearing Aid App automatically adjusts the sound output for each ear separately. You can amplify sounds by up to 30 dB with a wired headset, and the app adapts to different hearing environments such as quiet rooms, busy streets, or conversations. The interface keeps controls simple: choose a listening profile, adjust volume, and start the hearing amplifier immediately.

Features and Listening Tools

Beyond standard hearing boost, Petralex Hearing Aid App includes free features that make daily listening easier. Dynamic compression amplifies quiet sounds without making loud sounds uncomfortable, and four built-in sound amplifier options let you switch between listening styles. You can also use your phone as a remote microphone, connect a Bluetooth headset, and enjoy the app with no registration and no advertisements. When using Bluetooth, remember that sound transmission may have a slight delay and possible echoing. This hearing aid app was selected as a Microsoft Inspire P2P contest winner in 2017.

Premium Options and Personalization

For more advanced needs, Petralex offers a premium subscription with extra listening tools. The Super Boost mode provides a stronger sound amplifier, while regulated noise suppression reduces background noise and improves speech clarity. Premium users can create unlimited profiles, edit each profile with fine adjustments, and use the audio recorder to amplify recorded speech. The modern Dectone amplification method strengthens sound even further, and media player sound amplification applies your hearing profile to music and video. Subscription plans are available weekly, monthly, or annually, and the service includes a free seven-day trial.

Adaptation and Health Notes

It takes time to get used to any hearing amplifier, and Petralex includes a built-in four-week adaptive course to help new users adjust gradually. Some sounds may seem different at first, and a metallic aftersound is possible during the early days of use. The app's noise reduction function can ease this transition. Petralex helps users track changes in perceived hearing ability through periodic audiometric testing, but it is not a clinical tool and should not replace a doctor's hearing test or ENT consultation. If you have concerns about your hearing, contact your doctor.

The Petralex Hearing Aid App is not approved as a medical device and cannot replace a hearing aid prescribed by an ENT doctor. Hearing test results offered in the application are intended only for adjusting the sound amplifier app, not for professional audiology diagnosis. After the free trial, the service does not process refund requests for purchases made with the intention to continue using the app. For support, contact [email protected] or review the terms and privacy policy on the official website.
